Description:

In the Talking Harry the Hedgehog iPhone app you will be able to interact with a very bored and tired little hedgehog that doesn’t have much interest in what you are saying.  If you decide to give him an energy drink though you will see him spruce right up and either become a trained karate master or a sci-fi dodger of bullets.  Harry will actually say back everything that you say to him.  He will do it in a bored voice unless he has had an energy drink first and then he becomes very talkative.

Features:

• This game is all about getting a reaction out of your little groundhog friend.  You will be able to talk to Harry the Hedgehog and then have him repeat everything back to you in the most bored voice you can think of
• If you want to really get Harry going then all you need to do is just give him one of the energy drinks that is on the screen.  If you give him the blue energy drink then you will be able to see him turn into a karate master who can’t be touched!
• If you decide to opt for the other energy drink and you end up giving him the red one then you will see that he will get a little edgy and go into the bullet dodge mode
• Once he turns into either one of these characters from drinking the red and blue energy drinks then you should see what happens when you try to talk to him or when you try to touch him on the screen
• One of the cool things that you can do with this app is that if you have  a really funny session with Harry then you can take a video of it and record it to watch it later.  You can save these videos in your library and then send them to friends as an MMS or you can even upload them to Facebook or onto Youtube.  If nothing else you can at least email them to the people you know

Conclusion:

Who doesn’t like a talking Hedgehog?  This is a pretty fun app because you will be able to manipulate the hedgehog depending on what you give to him.  He’s naturally pretty bored and uninviting until you give him an energy drink and then he transforms into something completely different!  You can record the funny videos once you capture them and then share them with friends and family.

Archetype iPhone app Review

Description:

The Archetype iPhone app is one of the best first person shooters out on the iPhone.  Go ahead and download it and give it a try.

Features:

• This game has been completely optimized so that it works on the iPhone 4.  You can maximize your experience by using the retina display to view better textures, high resolution images, and crisp on-screen HUD.  Every time that you get a head shot you will be amazed by how good the game looks
• One of the funnest parts of this game is the ability you have to play in multi-player death matches.  These little games can support up to 5 on 5 in two different teams
• You can also play some pretty intense team battles that will take place across over six different maps.  You also will be able to utilize six different weapons that include the likes of the missile launcher, melee axe, shotgun, precision and battle rifles, and the auto mag.  There are also a couple different grenade types
• One of the new things int he game is the support center for the entire game.  You will be able to also take part in the multiplayer matching process.  You will be able to access leaderboards as well as the achievements
• There is also a brand new arena that you can take advantage of that has everything to do with shotguns.  This is a fun single-weapon mode where you can go crazy
• There is another new story mode which can be unlocked by beating the online campaign mode.  You will be able to see the story behind Archetype through the messages and logs
• Another new part of the game is the chapter two frontier.  You will be able to do some in-app purchases to double the levels, add new gameplay modes, and also get another story mode
• The controls in the game are very precise and you will be able to enjoy the joystick feel of them.  You can get the hang of these controls in no time
• You also will be able to earn experience for winning your games and then you can start to rank up and even win some pretty cool medals
• You can use the radar that is on the screen to be able to track your enemies and see where they are going.

Geometry Wars iPhone app Review

Description:

The Geometry Wars iPhone app is one of the coolest little arcade games you are going to find on the iPhone.  You will see that it has used the graphics engine and has faster processing so that you can have an enhanced game experience and really let yourself get deeper and deeper into the fast-paced game.  If you have the iPad then you will definitely want this game for that as well.  You will see all the different gameplay modes and also will be able to use the exclusive iPad gameplay mode that is pretty intense. You will love how versatile the game is and also all of the different enemies and attacking strategies that you can employ.  Enjoy this one of a kind game!

• If you love arcade games then there is a good chance that you will fall in love with this game as well.  It has been widely known as one of the most successful games in the arcade genre of all time
• If you go back in history a bit you will see what I mean.  The Geometry Wars Retro Evolved game ended up winning multiple awards for the best overall game of the year and the best arcade game
• This game is also known as one of the very first games that really helped kick start the craze of consumers getting their own digital distribution of these home consoles
• There was a a sequel to that first game called Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 and it also had a great year in its own right because it broke a lot of records

Who Threw Poo iPhone app Review

Description:

You’ve been bullied for long enough.  The only way to really get back at the neighborhood bully and embarrass him is to take your dog’s poop and throw it at him and hit him right in the face.  Do what you can to send your neighbors packing with a good poo fling!

Features:

• One of the funnest things about this simple little app is that you will have the opportunity to throw all kinds of different items at the bullies next door.  You will be able to throw dozens of items including bricks, footballs, poop, ornaments from the yard, tires, and pretty much anything else you can find laying around in the back yard
• Even the poo that is in the game has been customized quite a bit.  You will be able to throw little pieces of poo, huge pieces of poop, stinky poops, or even little bird poo that you find.  Once you come across some poo you can’t help but chuck it!
• There are also as few different characters that you can choose to be in the game.  There are actually five characters total and each of them have their own personality and will give you an entirely unique experience
• Last of all, you will be able to start your adventure in the trailer park and then you can work up through that dingy trailer all the way until you have an actual home in the nice suburbs of the city

In light of all of the weird and unconventional apps out there comes the “Who Threw Poo” iPhone app.  In this app you will have the opportunity to get back at that jerk of a bully that lives next door.  Not only will you have tons of poo to fling, you will also be able to throw a variety of other items including footballs, bricks, and anything else you can find.  You will also be able to pick from a few different characters as well as work your way up from the little trailer in your trailer park to a real house in the suburbs!  If you’ve ever wanted to throw poo on somebody without having a mess on your hands, then this is the only way to do it!

Description:

Amy’s Froyo iPhone app is a fun way to make some interesting creations out of a variety of different toppings and flavors.

Features:

• There is a ton going on in this little iPhone app.  For one, there are a ton of different cup designs to choose from (30 to be exact) and you will be able to get things like Manhattan, Saturn, Poppy, Comino, Malibu and more
• The app also allows you to make fro yo creations from a bunch of different flavors. There are over 15 different flavors that you can choose from including vanilla, green tea, coconut, coffee, mango, blueberry, melon and many others
• As far as customization goes there are also a lot of different toppings that you can put on your frozen yogurt.  You can put over 41 different delicious toppers onto your ice cream to make it the perfect combination of sweetness
• Once you have made your little frozen dessert you can then eat it up!
• You will also have the option of saving your froyo onto your phone in you photo album to pull it up at any time
• You can also share your designs and creations with your friends and family by posting them on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, or you can email them
• You can also take your recipe and save it so that you can make the same froyo again

Conclusion:

Who doesn’t like a little frozen yogurt?  This app can be a real time waster because there is so much that you can do with it.  There are over 30 different cup designs that are all unique and have options such as soho, Wowa, York, Aruba, Madison, Jodhpur and many more.  On top of that they also have 15 flavors and even 41 toppings that you can use in order to decorate your Froyo and make it as scrumptious as you want.  There are quite a few of these types of apps out there on the market and while they don’t have a lot of lasting value they can be a fun way to spend a few minutes here and there to make some pretty fun flavorful creations.  You can also share these creations with other people that you love which can give this game some replay value.

• In this fun little organizational app you will be able to take Suzie’s Sushi House and use 19 different amazing recipes as you try to please the customers that come in the door

• As you are working on creating great sushi, you will be able to use up to 12 different ingredients and each will be making a very unique and exciting form of sushi

Description:

In the Spider Man – Total Mayhem iPhone app you will have to take Spiderman and help him save his city from the threats that have just been released!  New York city isn’t safe ever since the super villains escaped and now Spidey will have to stop all of the mayhem that is being created by these evil monsters.  On top of that, the villains want to disperse a deadly virus and infect the citizens!  You will love the action, fun and humor that is all included in this incredible looking edition of the Spider man franchise.

• This game has a very dynamic gameplay and you will notice that there are over 20 different fighting combinations that you can pull off against your enemies.  On top of that you will be able to take advantage of all of his spidey skills and powers
• You will have to master the ability to use Spiderman’s agility to help him time jumps and get through the platforms and avoid some nasty mishaps
• Spidey also has a special attack that you can activate if you need it.  It is the Ultimate Web Combo and will take care of any and all danger that comes your way

Spider Man is one of the most beloved comic book heroes of all time and now you get to carry him around with you everywhere you go right in the palm of your hand!  This game really brings the comic book universe to life and lets you deal with Spiderman/Peter Parker’s difficult issues.  You will have to fight villains like Venom, Doc Oc, Green Goblin, Rhino, Sandman, and even Electro.  This game has a sleek style to it and is a hard one to put down.  Well worth the seven dollar price tag that it has on it.

Description:

The Tehra Dark Warrior iPhone app takes place in the land of Sistar where there have been numerous battles between the demon race of Urka’h and the humans.  Thousands of warriors have been killed in the wars and they are both on the verge of being destroyed.  The kings of both races have seen the need to stop killing each other and they agreed on a treaty to try and establish peace.  In order to keep the citizens in line they created an assassin who was part demon and part human.

This is where Tehra Dark Warrior takes place, and you will go throughout the 3D world and try and keep peace in all the land. Along the way you will see all kinds of creatures and monsters.  Not only that, you will have to look for hidden coffers in order to help yourself be armed and dangerous at all times.

Features:

• This game is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the storyline.  The story mode is amazing and the scenarios are all in 3D and look incredible
• There are also a lot of different mini games that you can find and play in as you are traveling throughout the game
• The difficulty of the game is very dynamic.  If you die on a certain level then the difficulty will be lowered a little bit the next time that you try it out.  It lowers a little bit with each time that you die
• There is also a really cool online mode that you can check out. You will be able to compete worldwide and see if you can collect all the prizes and be the best warrior out on the field
• You will have to use a combination of strength and magic in order to defeat all of your enemies and keep progressing through the game.  Try increasing her skills through the game
• There are also two different modes of gameplay you can experience.  One when Tehra is a human and the other when she turns into a demon
• The movements in the game are entirely fluid and you will love how it all interacts in the 3D environments
• The graphics and special effects are in a league of their own.  You will be able to utilize every part of your iPhone in order to make this game a masterpiece
• The story mode and online modes offer hours of gameplay for you to enjoy
• The soundtrack in the game is also very impressive and will suck you in

Description:

This game is all about launching a farting pig through slingshots and watching him tumble past obstacles.  You will have to get as much cauliflower as you can so you can get speed boosts.  There are dozens of achievements you can try to get and you can also check out the local and global leader boards. Be sure to challenge your friends and make sure you have the highest score of all of your friends.  You can be the go to pig farter if ever there was one needed.

• The Pig Shot iPhone app is a pretty much a crazy slingshot game where you get to fling around a farting pig.  He will roll between obstacles as you guide him down the path
• Along the way you will encounter all kinds of challenges and obstacles including the wandering farm sheep that just always seem to be getting in the way
• The environment that you play in is actually really fun and totally random.  Not only that the obstacles you have to avoid are just as random
• This app has been integrated with OpenFeint which means that you will have a ton of different achievements that you will have to try to unlock.  This gives you hours of extra gameplay
• You will also get to enjoy the global leaderboards as well as the local ones so that you can see who the best pig farters are in the country.  You can then try to beat their scores

Conclusion:

This is a very original game that centers around a farting pig.  How can you not love that?  You basically get to slingshot him around levels and watch him tumble and roll his way through the game.  The game will actually make you laugh and it is pretty easy to play.  You just pull and release the slingshot and then grab cauliflowers along the way in order to replenish your gas reserves.  Whenever you need a speed boost just press anywhere on the screen and the pig will fart and he will be propelled forward through the level.

Description:

In the Hunting Unlimited ’11 iPhone app you will be able to travel all over the country as you hunt for your prey.

Features:

• One of the best things about this app is the locations that you get to explore as you are hunting.  There are over 30 different places you can hunt and they are all very detailed and you will be in places like plains, forests, mountains, and much more
• With each of the different locations you will find that that there are a few different challenging game modes you will be able to try out. They include the You vs Prey and Predator, You vs Predator, and also the You vs Prey game mode
• As you go through the game you will notice that there are 7 different trophy species that you can find.  They include the following.  Th Whitetail Deer, the North American Moose, Kodiak Bears, Grizzly bears, Wolves, Mule Deer, and Big Horn Sheep
• The graphics in this game are actually really incredible and you will love that everything is in 3D.  All of the animals and environments are very detailed and lifelike
• In the game you can fire in 360 degrees so you have every opportunity to take out your prey
• There are 12 different weapons that you can use throughout the game including compound bows, rifles, and even shotguns
• You can take your trophy kills and put them up in your cabin in order to show them off.  You can get trophy kills for kill shots, long range shots, and also how big the animal is

This app is based off of the wildly popular PC franchise and this game will take you all around the country in  your search for big game.  You will be able to bag over 7 of the popular trophy animals that are in over 30 different locations.  You will also love the trophy case where you can showcase all of your big kills.  You also will have quite a few different weapons that you can use as you try to get the biggest animals out there.  This is a decently fun hunting game and should provide enough entertainment to keep you busy for a few good hours as you try to beat it.
